Sample unique Japanese papers with these curated Paper Tasting Sets from Yamamoto Paper. Each set contains 3 types of paper in 3 different sizes so you can try a variety of options without committing to a lot of pages. The paper is glue-bound at the top of the page and has a cardboard backing, making each style of paper into a handy notepad.
This set features 25 sheets of each of the following kinds of paper:
- Monte Lukia (B7 size) – Has been produced at the Nippon Paper Ishinomaki Mill that was directly hit by the tsunami that followed the great east Japan Earthquake “Monte Lukia is a kasadaka with micro coating . This is the unique bulking technology to produce well- textured coated paper that achieves low base weight yet hugh paper thickness.
- B7 Natural (A6 size) – is a Kasadaka with micro coating book paper. It’s Said that the name b7 was inspired by the chord sound b7
- New Chiffon Cream (B6 size) – Light-cream colored book paper that is thick, light, and soft. Given that is PH neutral, it does not discolor over time and has great archivability.
