Van Dieman’s Icy Great Lake from the Colours of Tasmania series is a medium ice blue ink with low shading and blue shimmer. It dries in 20 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has an average flow. Van Dieman’s ink is made in Australia.
Van Dieman’s Tasmania collection includes fourteen fountain pen inks. The first 10 are recreations of Tasmania range collection. The last four are new shimmering inks.
Icy Great Lake is one of the new shimmering inks in the collection. This exquisite Icy blue wet shader is perfect for dip pen and brush work. this ink is highly saturated with a gold shimmer on good quality fountain pen paper.
Due to heavy shimmer we do not recommend this ink being used in fountain pens!!
